part of the rock wall where the north american tectonic plate made a crack in the earth. or... something. anyway, it's a huge rock wall, where old vikings used to meet up and talk about parliamentary affairs!

it was really cold and awesome!

since I neglected to bring a real winter coat, I've been wearing this horrible green jacket during the trip. ill-fitting? yes. giving me a little extra (MUCH-NEEDED) warmth? kinda. :( this is me in front of gullfoss!
