Sunday Morning SuckinessThe angle minimizes the appearence, but I guarantee you that this tire was quite flat. Yes, this jack is small, and fits neatly into the trunk. It also cranks veerrrry sloooooowly... Good ol' tire iron. Glad I remembered to break the bolts on the ground this time. Won't make that mistake twice. The micro-spare! Sadly, it was low on air. Yiminy criminy. Hey, it's-a me, Mario! Yeah, the ground's good and wet. Yeah, I was sittin' on it. Yeah, that sucked too. hee hee! what is "breaking the bolts?" You can probably tell I've never changed a tire ![]() So, this morning the wife and I are already late for church, as we got to bed late and forgot to set the alarm to wake us up. We schlep to the car and I'm pulling out when something feels very wrong.

Parking brake on? Nope, that's fine. Car in correct gear? Yep. Uh-oh. Yes indeedy, we'd developed a very flat tire overnight. So, this morning, instead of driving off to church, I got to experience the joy of changing a flat in the rain. Light rain, but still rain nonetheless. The spare tire was, unfortunately, low on air. I guess I should have had it checked or something. It got us to Wal-Mart, however (at a brisk 30 MPH), where I had both front tires replaced (they couldn't repair the flat). Yippee skippee. Oh well, it was about time for new tires anyhow. Commentsalida saxon

When Halloween is on a Sunday, sometimes you get tricked instead of treated.
I hope it didn't set you back too much.
