Memorial Day Weekend is the most observed holiday after Christmas and Easter as it marks the end of Spring and beginning of Summer with a three day weekend.
Here in the Mission the rhythms of all cultures and groups, old, new and remixed come together as a hymn to DIVERSITY in UNITY.

This is the only day of the year that the SF Bay Area [Oakland - San Francisco - San Jose] celebrates itself where EVERYONE is invited to join in here at our historic Mission Bay Area birthplace and keeper of so many generations vision of the "Golden Dream of the New World"
Special plans are underway for the 2008 30th anniversary of Carnaval San Francisco with plans to unite the TRINITY of metro centers and unleash the healing power of JOY in the PRESENT.
