Ringing in the New Year

... and a fraction of the amazing decorations at a friend's place.

A time in-between Christmas and the end of the year. The onslaught of celebrating is over, and the hurrying, eating, drinking and gifting have settled into warmth and 'is it over already' heaviness of the season. In the twilight of winter the clock ticks away the hours, minutes and seconds until the cold arrival of January.

Lion sketch... latest

Finally flying... a few minor tweaks remaining. The wing tips won't be visible in the completed drawing, and are so big already that I had to photoshop an additional 2 drawings.

At last I'm ready to look at the whole composition.
