Star trails over a rock

Star trails over a rock by Sam Meztli.
Noise got a little out of hand on this photos. Insanely long exposures, but i had to get those trails right! Hope you like the results. Thanks to Bob for the inspiration.

Just remember to shoot your star trails at f/5.6 -- not sure what this was at -- but they show best at that aperture ... and the exposures won't be so long ... great shot --- really nice start -- now you're addicted! Welcome to the club!

The foreground is a little underexposed so there isn't much detail in the image. I love the background though!

Cosmic. This really reminds me how insignificant man is in the scheme of things but also how significant it is to conserve what we have.
