"...Base-ball Club, Boswel....neg. by Wm. Hicks."
A damaged baseball club real photo postcard from Boswell, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, dating to the 1900s or 1910s. Although the baseball club name is missing due to the torn-off corner, the team name appears to have been the Regulars, judging by the shirt worn by the man standing on the left.
I'm not sure what to make of "neg. [or weg.?] by Wm. Hicks." Could this mean, "negative by William Hicks," indicating that Hicks was the photographer? Somehow that doesn't sound right to me.
