It would have been an automatic delete with a sunset too. ;-)
I'm not a big fan of wierd crops...
maybe this one was made for Cinemascope.
And the bare hills and the building with the shiney roof
don't jibe with my pre-conceptions of a 'Snowboard Shot'.
But this shot is just too good
and I can't see how you could have cropped it signifigantly better.

Oh kiki, you wrote EXACTLY the same thing on mine, you were pasting your sig/border enemies! and I thought I was special...sniff. As for the photo, that white house and the cable lines are bothering me. In the full size they still bother me. But to be honest, I just love the rest too much to care.

just to keep things balanced, i'm going to be a dissenter...
while i think it's a pretty good snowboarding shot, i think the amount of stuff showing at the bottom ruins it. when i see a guy flying through the air like that, i want to think about him 'flying through the air' — not about how in another second he's going to be 'smacking down on that dirty-ass snow'. seeing the ground below him ruins what magic this might have had.

the relationship of the foreground and background is really nice giving this a sense of depth. That gives it that drama, plus there's a bounty of snow in the front and it's rock in the back. Nice one!

When I was studying in the university there were some teachers that wanted to appear bad or “knowledgeable” due to their non-sense criticize. This is a nice photo! Delete it only because there is no signature is non-sense. Come on, this could be a side note instead of criteria of deletion.

@all Thanks for the comments - On the subject of the lines (ski lift) and building, I did attempt a crop with them removed, but it caused more problems than it solved - it lost depth and the composition lost balance.
@ Michale & Ken - you guys simultaneously posted... think it's saveme8 / deleteme6 now

Teasing aside, some poster's comments are facetious, meaning they're meant to entertain. Lacking context, you might take them seriously, then everything goes crazy, and someone loses an eye.
