Seyðisfjörður

I went on a field trip today with my arts class (and my physics class) to the small and beautiful town of Seyðisfjörður. Of course, I took my camera with me. This is one of the more intresting places in Iceland. When we Icelanders were first connected with the world, by marine cable, it all started in Seyðisfjörður and at that time it was the most tecnologically advanced town in Iceland. They have a tecnology museum with lots of old things, even a whole room full of photographs, cameras and other related stuff.

And that's not all, the town s also full of artist of all kinds, it's the art capital of east Iceland :P There's always something going on, always exhibitions and art galleries to go to.

Because I'm learning electrotechnology in physics, we had to go to the tecnology museum in Seyðisfjörður. We also had to go to a exhibition for the arts class. So it was a nice trip and I saw some very interesting things :)

This is an ancient headphone I found inside the museum. I think it was used in some radio or telegraph things.
