A Girl and Her Cat

    My oldest daughter and our cat are best buds. Every night when she climbs into bed, he waits patiently for her to get settled, then climbs on top of her. I can't decide which of these I like best, so I'm posting them all.

      I think I like this one best. For my money, the feminine, girly bedding and wall hanging underscores the innocence and purity of the moment. Really sweet moment.

      Thanks for the comments...it really helps to hear what people like and don't like. I usually default to "closer is better" but there was something about this wider shot I liked, too.

      I didn't even have to "stage" this moment, either. I was about to take a shot of her with the covers pulled up to her eyes, and then Henry jumped up there and gave me an even better shot. I like that cat.

      that is very sweet...she's a pretty girl, and the cat is dramatic and sweet looking, too. Henry--great name.
