ground bee with pollen

my first ground bee of this year , taken with macro it was kind enough to sit up on the flower with all that pollen and look straight at the lens, I do like cooperative insects!!

I don't own a proper macro lense myself but I've played around with a macro extension tube. I found it really difficult to get a decent depth of field though. Do you mind if I ask what your exposure was for this and what lense you use?
