25262 is seen sandwiched between two class 504 EMU`s at Rawtenstall East Lancs Railway 5th of October 1991. A sort of modern take on a GWR auto-train.

Class 504 car M77172 at the front of the weird push-pull class 504/25262 combo on the ELR at Rawtenstall 5th of October 1991. One of these 2-car units has since been broken up. See next pic for the class 25 seen down the platform.

Class 14 D9521 (aka NCB 3) in as withdrawn from NCB Ashington condition at the Rutland Railway Museum, Cottesmore 8th of September 1991.
D9521 was new to Old Oak Common shed in November 1964, It was withdrawn from Landore shed in April 1969 and sold to the NCB at Ashington where it was numbered 9312/90 and also No 3. It has now been restored to original BR condition and until recently was located at Barry

My old friend (see pics below) D9513 aka "NCB 38" at Embsay station, 14th of July 1991.
D9513 was new to Cardiff Canton in October 1964, but had been withdrawn by March 1968, it was sold for scrap to Arnott Youing, Parkgate, Rotherham and that should have been the end of that, but this engine has nine lives, and ended up preserved at Embsay in October 1987.
