The end of the 2011 and the onset of 2012 was marked ceremoniously by a road trip in Rajasthan. 2500kms in 10 days across Delhi - Alwar - Jaipur - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Sam - Jaisalmer - Udaipur - Jaipur - Delhi.
The one thing we loved about Rajasthan was its arches here's the first of the lot. This was taken at a lake called Gaddi Sar in Jaisalmer at Sunset.

Beautiful light and tones! The arches almost seem like teeth taking bites of the sky. I like the way the other domed structures are framed by the arches too. Excellent image!
