Kamondo Steps

The Kamondo steps in the Beyoglu district of Istanbul.
When i read Henri Cartier Bresson photographed these steps in 1965 i could see why and got inspired to have a take on it. Didn't see his photo til i got back from Istanbul, posted below.

Istanbul

this is my favourite picture on our trip to Istanbul. Saw this building and the light was perfect, a cab came by and i thought what a great pic it would make so had to wait a little while for another one to go by so i could snap it this time round. You can see Jayne in the pic too, she's on the pavement lower middle right of the pic, she'd gone into a barbers for help in finding the Leica photography centre nearby. No exhibition on that week though.
