I instructed my sister and her boyfriend as they made a quilt for her bff's baby-to-be. My sister "paid" me with leftover fabric (children at play) and pizza. I made burp cloths for the same baby. My go-to gift used to be a bib plus a gift card but these were really fun a quic so I may have to switch things up.

I wish I had made myself cute burp cloths when I had babies. Oh well....

i haven't had this much fun sewing together a quilt top in a long time.

Scrappy herringbone bee blocks for Sheetal. Her quilt is going to be so damn good. I haven't sewn these halves together yet. I think the remaining three blocks I make will be exclusively very neutral. I feel like I may have gone a little heavy on the pops of color here.

Also, I know that some bee members are all caught up through March, so I will post my month (April) very very soon.

One last little note, more for my reference than anything else. I went to a knitting group at the local library last night even though I don't knit. I sat there, chatted, and tore fabric strips. It was really fun. I went to my mom's house afterward and sewed these blocks. Three cheers for (six hours of!) uninterrupted crafty time.
