• These paints where cannibalized from my 24 half pan Lukas set. I had a hard time narrowing the 24 down to 12, mostly I just plucked out the colors that had the most paint missing.
  • spray bottle
  • water containers. the lid for the big one is under the sketchbook
  • big clip to hold the paints to the big folding pallet
  • Pencil in the slot of the capped brush that came with the set. I usually use a waterbush for painting so the little collapsible brush got booted for a much more useful object.
  • I taped a fine pen nib on the end of the pencil. Add a little paint on it and it can paint very fine straight lines.
  • a tiny little eraser added in here under the pen nib
  • very bottom of a large folding mixing pallet
  • lid for large water container
  • Watercolor Pocket Moleskine
  • Tin box to carry all the gear shown in it. I believe a rotring artpen came in this box.
  • mechanical pencil
  • small flat brush
  • light wash watercolor sketching pencil
  • dark wash watercolor sketching pencil
  • eraser
  • kneaded eraser
  • koh-i-noor India ink
  • brass pencil sharpener
  • Rotring Rapidograph .25
  • lead holder with 2B lead
  • size 5 round brush
  • size 1 round brush
  • rubber band to help keep secured
  • some sticky notes for testing washes and such
  • people hanging around market square
  • forgot to put in the fine point sharpie & waterbrush that i carry. I also had a couple of fast food napkins.
  • bearded delivery man
  • lid for little container attached to the bottom of the little container
  • For the most part all this collapses down so it can be easily carried in a coat or a cargo pocket. the sketchbook and paints get rubber banded together, can be seen @ tinyurl.com/6xrxzq

How do you like the Lukas paint? Im planning on buying the 48 set

Lukas is my fav watercolor brand. They are an excellent artist level paint that generally run a little cheaper than the Winsor Newton artist grade. The main drawback that I've found, is the difficulty in locating refills for them. My local supply shop stopped carrying both the pans and the tubes and they have a tendency to be out of stock at my preferred online suppliers.

Guess Ill have to try them. Jerrys art rama has them. I normally use American Journey and Winsor Newton.
