'Who Cares? Supporting Children and Young People through Changes in Healthcare.'
The all day conference to be jointly hosted by Action for Sick Children and another registered charity 'WellChild' will take place on the 19th October this year in Manchester. The EACH committee meeting will be taking place on the 17th October with an EACH Congress, followed by a reception dinner, taking place on the 18th October. Further commitee meetings and congress will be taking place on the 20th October followed by a tour of the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

Fundraising Events
Vanessa Chappell Fell Race ~ 23 May 2012.
Paul Harris, Business Manager at Action for Sick Children will be taking part in a sponsored fell race in May this year to raise funds for Action for Sick Children.
The race is being organised by Goyt Valley Striders, Affiliated to UK Athletics Reg. No 2658036. The race was revived in 2010 by the Striders and was an instant success. The Feeback about last years race was fantastic.
2012 Race Details
WED. 23 May. VANESSA CHAPPELL (R). BS. 7.30p.m. 5.6M/1316’. Venue: Moorside Grange Hotel, Mudhurst Lane, Higher Disley, Cheshire, SK12 2AP.
£4.50 entry on night only. Entry fee includes soup & roll at the end of the race.

Paul Harris says,
"It will be my first race since taking up the sport earlier this year and I am delighted to raise money for Action for Sick Children. During the race I will cover 9km/5.6m and climb 401m/1316ft; all this takes place in the hills surrounding Disley where I am a local Parish Councillor."
