Under Bridge - Matthiessen State Park (redux)

Under Bridge - Matthiessen State Park (redux)

This is my second attempt at this... There was just something not right about the cropping of the first image, although I liked the water... Not sure what, but I like this one better...

For those who haven't seen it, here is the top of the waterfall at Matthiessen State Park (see: www.flickr.com/photos/acschult/4573661688/in/set-72157623...). I never went to the other side of the bridge to see what it looked like. I was a little underwhelmed given it's beauty from the front, but it was still an interesting place to see...

Wombat

Wombat

I always call cats "Wombats"... Other than that, this one followed me around while I was taking photographs with my parent's camera... as old Kodak point & shoot. I wasn't expecting the flash, but it really made the cat "pop"! :-)

Foggy, Snowy Tree

Foggy, Snowy Tree

Looking through a snow-covered tree at the sun on a snowy and foggy day at my parent's.

I suppose I could have gotten the snow to be a little lighter, but not without losing the sun.

Sunset From the Tracks

Sunset From the Tracks

Train tracks and a sunset, what could be better? Taken over Thanksgiving weekend near my parents house.

There's nothing like an absolutely straight line (rails) to show how much pin cushion a lens has...
