Hi Leon,

I am amazed by the recipe collection on your website. Wow! Good job!
I think I like your site better than the FoodTV site, so I've saved it as a Favorite.

Hi Leon,
About those recipes. . .
Now I know your site is called "astray" but I'm wondering if that isn't some kind of joke.
I was really happy to find the moosewood desserts recipe for pumpkin cranberry muffins (w/ginger). . . I had been looking for it ever since I lost this cookbook. . . and you know it did seem like 5.5 cups of flour was quite a lot. . . anyway. . . Because your website is called "astray" I wasn't sure if the error in the recipe, assuming only one error, was accidental or intentional.
Are you intentionally leading people astray?
A reply would be helpful.
Thanks,
Connie

Hey connie, the recipes do not intend to lead you astray, but they are collected from the internet and are sometimes of questionable quality. Just use your judgment when following the recipes and I hope enjoy them ;-)

You have my Chicken Loreli on your site without giving me credit for the recipe. While I am flattered that you liked the recipe enough to put it on your site.....This was a recipe I created and I want you to acknowledge this fact if you are going to keep this recipe on your site.

Hi Leon!
I was searching for recipes with 'bran' in them and came across your site. I love to find recipes that are ko-shur with the Weight Watchers eating plan. I was wondering how hard it would be to put a rating next to the recipes...???? You have SOOO MANY and it would be cool to know how they turned out for someone else.

I know this is a long shot - but does the recipe for "Chocolate Dessert with Raspberry Sauce" have the correct ingredient amounts?

Thanks

Hi Leon,
How did you learn how to site your recipes? It is wonderful that you don't change them and try to make them your own, but site them. Did you get permission from cook book authors to do this? I am setting up a fundraiser for my city with cook books and need to learn how to do this siting. It will be for profit, so i don't know if that makes a difference. Or, how and where you got your recipes.
Thanks

Hi Leon,
Great site. My daughter turned me on to it about a year ago. I use it all the time.
I would like to "run" this creation past you...
Raspberry, White Chocolate Filled Chocolate Dessert Shells
16oz cream cheese softened
7oz jar of Fluff
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
raspberry sauce

beat cream cheese til smooth add fluff beat til blended
melt chocolate chips in microwave fold into cheese mixture
chill for an hour
make raspberry sauce by putting 1/2cup jam and 1/4cup water in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes stir then strain to remove seeds
let this chill also
spoon cheese filling into choclate shells dizzle with raspberry sauce and swirl a little with knife.

I'm in the process of "creating" this now. I hope they turn out good. They are going to be Thanksgiving Party Favors.

Let me know if anyone tries this.

I was looking for a translation for the italian word 'crescione' and I ended up on your recipes page and found out it means 'watercress' ! Hey, am I glad I found you since you're really awesome with the pictures as well. When you'll have the time perhaps you'll go back to them and insert the location you took them at ? I love many of them but I cannot tell where exactly you shot them. Léon, you're a genius, thank you for sharing what you know with the rest of the world. God bless.

The recipe for Easy Cantaloupe Sherbet or Frozen Yogurt is mine, but isn't credited. Mind fixing that, please?

Hey! Just wanted to say how much I love your recipes page. BEen coming here for years and years; your page is my favorite to look for stuff because you're so fast and easy to search; helps to be a programmer, eh?

Anyways, I hate the adds you have to put up but I get why they're there - website hosting for a page with as much data as yours isn't easy to come by. Any way to move them off the top of the recipes though?
