From my trip to Death Valley last November, looking northwest-ish, about 5700' above the valley below. Good times. I bracketed a few comps out there and never got around to blending, so I'm checking to see how they came out. I had my Cokin filters with me, but by then had discovered that they are pretty much garbage. I think my camera captured most of the dynamic range in one shot, but auto blending reduces noise and saves me a ton of time in post.
