12' Tall Orc Blizzard Statue - 2.23.2009

Monday was our unveiling of the 12 foot orc Blizzard statue that will be the centerpiece for our courtyard!

It was almost two years in the making, modeled after our special Employee only Orc statue given to us for 2007-2008 Christmas gift.

The statue was modeled in New Zealand at Weta Workshop, overseen by famed Richard Taylor of the Lord of the Rings movies. It was then shipped to China where it was worked on for the bronze molding.

Art direction by Nick Carpenter, who also is a director for our cinematics department, he did a phenomenal job keeping the accuracy and detail from small to big.

Our courtyard was so empty since the opening of the new campus in late 2007, but now it's finally complete with the gigante statue!
