Taken from inside the closed beach bar at Marinha. This is a sort home grown HDR, done by mucking about in RAW.
Thus far it doesn't seem to be terribly pouplar, but I'm stubborn - for me it is the best of 2005.
-Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as my best of 2005.

That would be spectacular DR if it were genuine.
Of course it isn't :-) - shot in RAW, and three pictures developed in different ways, wood, sea and sky, and beach and rocks, and then put back together to produce this pronounced picture postcard effect.
Personally, I think it is the best thing I've ever done, dunno why it has been favourtited so little compared to some others, but that's life :-)

It looks to have some barrel distortion. Are you using PTLens or similar?

Could be corrected, but I like barrel distortion. It would have more, but at the time widest I had was 14mm (28 in old money). Now I have an 11.
Want the 8mm prime...

Cheers - looks horrible on white in my opinion, because the railing are coming out of the page. The pbase version, which is displayed on a black background, has no border.

OK, "relatively few" then. The Bom Successo shot and the Wave thing both got huge numbers of faves very quickly. This is faintly staggering towards the 20, and in my view it is just as good.

You'll be having trouble with mine then, when I'm trying to give a wide angle perspective I will INSERT barrel distortion if it suits the shot...
