Philadelphia Folk Festival 2008, Saturday Night Concert

These are from the Saturday night concert from the festival. It was a great show, though unfortunately we missed Judy Collins who closed the night out.

The only downside was the "sweep." They clear out the grounds because they sell tickets that are good only for the day so they need to clear out all the Saturday-only people. This is a real pain for those who bought all day or all festival tickets and is a classic example of making something too complex. It's a hassle for the volunteers and a hassle for the people who have to pick up all their stuff head out and get back in line only to rush back in to get a good spot. Nobody's happy and those who are there for the first time are utterly confused.

Leave out that nonsense and it was great. All the performers were wonderful!
