I love this photo. it has so many things going on with it. best viewed large. A storm was following behind us in the car and I really wanted to get a shot that gave you a sense of the unique feel of the transition from sun to rain. After seeing the large tree up ahead, we pulled over and the perspective just came together.
Thanks for the comments :)
North of Edinburgh, somewhere near Lock
Earn. Best I can tell ya. Was driving around

countryside.

I like roads. When I viewed this large, my
eyes naturally went to the road and
immediately saw that it was a patchwork of
tarsnakes. That ruined it for me.
6 out of 10. (sigh) I imagine for the
deleteme group, it's a limited success at
least coming out with more than half the
votes as save.

Fuck delete me. It's just a bunch of people
who think their unkindness is clever. It's
often simply unkind. It's rarely clever.

Oh, and check out some of the photos of the
people who said the meanest things!
Really, Beau. Could you ever take that
kind of criticism seriously?
Now if it were coming from someone like Tampen, you could listen and learn. Of course,
he'd probably not find such pleasure in
rudeness.

oh, i don't take it personaly. And most of it
*is* for the sake of being clever, still, on
past comments, I have gotten some
constructive criticism which I am always open
to. And yes, Tampen would have constructive
words, I agree. :)

Beautiful photo! I found it while reading an
article on Chris Brogan's blog.
The contrast of colours and light make this
a very dramatic photograph. The composition
definitely pulls you right. Very nice!
