Hello TBroudja,
We would like to please use your image, I Have Always Been an Admirer. We are creating a series of digital jigsaw puzzle computer games which feature different mythological characters. This is our favorite mermaid-themed image we have found, and we do need a mermaid for a specific collection. We will give you full credit as the creator of the image.
There is a catch. A puzzle game is, however, a derived work. We will not be changing the image except by breaking it into puzzle pieces. Thus it is not strictly permitted according to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Generic license. Thus, we are asking you personally for permission.
How does that sound?
