Black and White House

    The White House
    January 7, 2007
The flag is flying half-mast because former president Gerald R. Ford had just died.

Thanks to David Luria (who was standing next to me) for the idea.

Yes! Comp AND framing! Big plus. Surprised they even allow photos now adays with all the private corps skyscrapers shamelessly using "terrorism" as a reason you can't snap a photo of their buildings, lol. Same corp privacys, diff excuse now. Like THAT's gonna stop anything from happening, lol.

I suspect this little house on the prairie above is a little more confident then that however in it's defenses now, lol.

God Bless America, America Bless God...What a beautiful yet powerful photo.. This is about as close as anyone can get to this house. I have to say when I saw it for the first time I thought it would be bigger..

very unique photo of the White House. I've never seemed it framed like this. Works great in bw. I don't know, something about the photo seems to reflect the mood of the country right now, at least for me, so

Great pic. I wanted a unique shot of the White House for an article I wrote here and this fit the bill perfectly. Great eye to add a new dimension to something that has been photographed so many times before.
