Nice shot, did you use a tripod? I've always wanted to take some photos of rides at night, but didn't want to have to bring a tripod with me.

No tripod. I rested the camera lense in the fence railing that surrounds the ride, and tried to hold it steady. I had never tried it before either and didn't want to lug a tripod. It took a number of tries but this (and the others at the top of my photostream today) were my favorites. You only need a 1 second exposure to get this level of movement.
