It's interesting you say that the people in the background are distracting. I guess everything is relative. I already eliminated the most distracting other runner. Here is the original! It took some time. Maybe I should have kept going and taken out the guy in the green shorts.

I love the people in the background, it's part of the shot.

Saw this in TWTME "Family" thread and loved it. Beautiful shot.

Cute shot, isn't it great how the son is almost an echo of the father!
I don't mind the background people either!

Thanks for sharing in our "Family" theme thread

This is a terrific shot. I love that your son is ahead of you -- and how both of your feet are off the ground. I looked at your original shot -- excellent job scrubbing out the distracting kid coming towards you. I think the rest of the background folks add to the shot. Nicely done.

Thanks for the nice words. Actually it's not me. It's a cousin. Would you believe I did the scrubbing with a 6 year old Microsoft PictureIt! program... I don't do much to my photos usually -- not a photoshop guy.

I should know better than to leave comments before I've had my morning coffee. Of course that's not you running -- you're the photographer! I scare myself sometimes....

      A great picture!

A really good one. I used it in an article I wrote about walkning and running with pedometer and which things to check before buying a pedometer.

You can find the article: Köp rätt stegräknare (in swedish).

Big thanks for using creative commons and flickr, and good luck with your photo work.

      Best regards
