I'd say your bear shot is one heck of a lot more dramatic then my little fox. And no, he didn't take off. I shot it through a window so he barely noticed me.

On a weekend afternoon. This fox has been wandering our neighborhood for years but this is the first time I'd seen him in our yard.

A fellow Virginian! Howdy!! Little Fox is a bit scraggly, but cute! The ones around my house, when you do see them, tend to get that way as well.

Looks like he has a problem with his right eye. The poor animal's probably finding it difficult to hunt - that's why he's so scraggly. I wish him luck.
