The window facing west was bathing my room with lovely light post afternoon.. Probably the mellowed down evening sun was in the mood for love.. Motivated me enough to capture the mood.. Grabbed whatever I could from the room and tried to reciprocate the mood in simplest possible way before the sun went down :)

Its been quite a while since I last played with liquids.. high speed photography to be precise.. So thought of going for something more challenging and interesting .. and trust me guys had loads of fun testing my patience, perseverance.. As always, was low on resources, but this kind of photography is so lucrative that I had to do it ;) :D Wouldn't have been possible without 2 sweet ladies.. my mom for dropping the sugar cubes & Uma for patiently angling in the light.. wanted to achieve 3 things prominently.. splash created by first cube, followed by second cube just hitting the surface and, the splash & second the cube to be in focus.. not to mention, lighting was pretty challenging too.. Angled in a 1000 watt diffused light from 45° to the right of subject.. a white board to fill in the shadows, home made reflector to reflect the diffused light from the pop-up flash adding a bit of luminance to the splash.. After several mistimed shots, got this one..

This is the last shot I took that night while returning back from a lovely photographic journey !! the atmosphere was moody & romantic with nature raining some lovely hues at dusk :) clicked it from inside of the car, lovely rain drops on the window..

Ahh !! it was so enthralling to watch the clouds n fog hover around the mountains at matheran.. The lovely track seamlessly led my eye to the lovely burst of light through the fluttering fog !! It was a spendid sight indeed :) The railway track seen in the photo is a narrow gauge track far a small train from a nearby pace called neral to matheran .. its closed in monsoon ..Enjoy the view and the weekend :)

This is the same hut from which I clicked the previous shot.. the paddy fields were looking so fresh that I almost felt like lying there for hours together :)
