Compare this ad, without the word
"because", to the broccoli ad,
which does use the word. The amazing thing is
that after I made both these ads, I
immediately went to the fridge and got out my
container of broccoli. I ate most of it, then
started on the carrots. I lost interest in
the carrots after about four sticks. Is it
because I wasn't hungry anymore? Because I
like broccoli better than carrots? Or because
I used the word "because" in the
broccoli ad?
For the record, I am still hungry--at least,
I think I am--and I would have previously
considered myself to prefer carrots over
broccoli.
