Smells like teen Smith...

Smells like teen Smith...

Hermosa Beach pier on a casual saturday evening. We hit up a local bar for a couple hours anticipating the sunset. The water was really warm for this time of year too...

I think this image is my closest to imitating the style of Patrick Smith, hence the title. I'm always striving to improve my photo capture skills and post, and i feel this one is actually a step forward.

Hope you enjoy...

Limestone Hedges

Limestone Hedges

There's nothing like being in a completely foreign land capturing photos, relaxing, with no pressure of time. The light just sat there while i tried a bunch of different comps, settings, filters. To think these magical moments happen everyday here, whether someone is here to see it or not.

You know that moment. We've all had it. You're done, you've put all your equipment away and you turn around. Yep this is one of those.

This shot is actually a different night than the one posted below in my stream, but it has many similar qualities. Serene still air and light puffy clouds dusted with the setting sun.

Valle Verde

Valle Verde

Lots of rain makes lots of green. Southern California has been transformed for the winter as repeated showers have rolled through, leaving behind greener views. This same spot in just 4 months will most likely be dry as bone, but for now a sprinkle of grass is spread across the landscape.

This shot is just 10 minutes after the image below.
