Back in the Saddle

Back in the Saddle

Well, it's been a while. I've had a tough couple of months, and didn't feel much like posting. But I've been trying to get back into the swing of things and get out there some more. I've hit a few sunrises and sunsets...and always manage to miss the epic ones. But I'll keep trying. It's just been nice to get out. And I wanted to especially thank my photog friends of Seattle, Hai, Dene', Aaron, Lisa, David, and Vinny. You guys have been great.

This was another sunset that didn't quite pan out like I'd hoped, but nice all the same. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope you all had a great holidays and start to the new year!

Silver and Cold

Silver and Cold

A recent photo of the skeletal pier that has inspired me so much, taken during my Thanksgiving trip to the beach. I like the cool blue tones of the color version too, but I was really shooting for a minimal B&W here, so I went with that.

Sorry I've been such a bad neighbor lately. One of these days...

Ella Bella

Ella Bella

Here's another cute one of Ella that I thought I'd share. In case you were wondering, my "toys" from the last post are a new Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens (I've been saving up for a year) and the Nikon SB700 flash. I've been having a lot of fun playing with both!

Peek-a-boo

Peek-a-boo

Just wanted to post a recent one of Ella that I just love. Especially because she is the big 5 today! We're talking major milestone. Happy birthday, my beautiful girl.

Sorry I haven't been around much at all....life is just insane right now...which is why I'm posting at 1 am! I hope you are all well, and I'll try to catch up when I can.

Oh, and this was taken using my 2 new toys, which I love, from what I can tell so far. See if you can guess what they are. :)

The Blue Hour Tower of Power

The Blue Hour Tower of Power

Here's another take on Dragon Tiger Tower in Kaohsiung. I like the comp of this one a bit more, even though the towers are kinda small.
