St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican

St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican

This is one of the most extraordinary and amazing architectures I have ever visited and photographed. The Basilica is so huge that one can easily do 50 HDRs in different places within the basilica. Its always very crowded so to avoid ghosting, a camera with higher fps and faster shutter speeds is useful. Another important factor is AEB of at-least 3 ev. This way you wont blowout the details in the windows.

Sistine Chapel

Sistine Chapel

Amazing frescos by Michaelangelo and the most attractive and artistic creation in the vatican museums.
Technical: 10mm, 3200 iso, handheld, +3,0,-3 ev. The CHDK hack drastically improved the 400d. Even the latest 60d takes only +-2 ev while interior HDRs mostly need -3ev to properly expose the windows. Used lightroom, cs5, photomatix, topaz denoise5, topaz adjust 4.
