NaPC (Not a Photographer's Commune)

NaPC stands for "Not a Photographer’s Commune"; a collection of photographers looking to practice and expand our craft. We hold monthly photoshoots, primarily in a studio in scenic Trenton, NJ. They are largely informal, reflecting the group’s attitude and dynamic.We take our craft seriously, but we also like to laugh and have fun as much as we want to take the best possible photo. We want our models to feel the same: ready to work, but to also be comfortable and enjoy themselves.

Each photographer has a chance to work directly with the model. This avoids "paparazzi-style" shooting and ensures the model will get unique images from each photographer. We typically stay within the normal fashion/beauty style, with some casual and portrait work thrown into the mix. We often try out techniques and ideas on the spot; though we always tell our models a general idea or concept, it’s not unreasonable to see us deviate if the muse strikes.
