Cellulose acetate is the material that glasses frames are made from. This is our first attempt at cutting it on the laser. It cuts pretty nicely, although the edges will need some manual refinement, probably by sanding and polishing.

Ultimately, the tabs on the side will be heated and then bent back to serve as the attachment point for the earpieces.
