Dallol is a volcano absolutely incredible and unique.
Its summit lies at -48m below the sea level. Dallol holds the record
for the hottest annual average temperature in the world with 34° C,
recorded in 1960 and 1966.
In its warmer, the temperature can reach up 60° C in the shade… But
where is shade ?
In this mineral hell, any fall could be very dangerous. Everything is very cutting and many small lakes have a pH close to 0… Yes, ultra concentrated acid.
