"How can we dance when our Earth is turning
How do you sleep while our beds are burning..."

Diesel and Dust is an album by Midnight Oil that was released in 1987 under the CBS record label. The album is a concept album about the struggles of the Australian Aborigines and environmental causes, issues both near and dear to the band, and drew inspiration from the Black Fella White Fella tour of remote Indigenous communities with the Warumpi Band in 1985. The rhythm of "Beds are Burning" is said to be inspired by the noise of their vehicles' wheels on the corrugated dirt roads in the region.
In 1989, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it number 13 on their list of the 100 best albums of the 1980s. It was listed at No. 1 in the book, 100 Best Australian Albums, in October 2010.

Stealing the title from a wonderful shot by my dear friend Kurt www.flickr.com/photos/31246066@N04/5738523171/, hope you don't mind, dude!

Today it is the fourth birthday of our dearest grumpy Zoé
The music? Another wonderful song from the fantastic Hysteria, by Def Leppard, in its 25th anniversary.

Hoy es el cuarto cumpleaños de nuestra querida Zoé gruñona.
La música? Otro ejemplo del gran Hysteria de Def Leppard, en sus 25 años de haber visto la luz

Feliz 14 de febrero!
Happy Valentine's Day!

Never tear us apart is one of the singles of one of the best rock albums of last century: KICK, by the Australian band INXS, who made this extraordinary collection of great pieces of music in 1987, yes, 25 years ago. It was the first LP that I bought with my own money, and it is one of my all-time favorite albums

The glorious Wembley concert:

Another wonderful album from the magical 1987. 25 years ago, Sting gave us Nothing like the sun. The title comes from Shakespeare's Sonnet #130 ("My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun"), which Sting used in the song "Sister Moon".

Signs of life

Signs of life

A Momentary Lapse of Reason is the thirteenth studio album by English progressive rock group Pink Floyd. It was released in the UK and US in September 1987.
A deception for the most, including Roger Waters, it included "so much synthesizers" for somes.
For me, it included some great great songs, and I think it stills alive 25 years later.
Hope you like it, Kurt
