UNDER THE SYCAMORE TREE

Out for a drive we came across this sycamore tree, it's bark is just amazing that it looks like it's camouflaged. Makes me think of the song " Dream a little dream"

All anyone could ask for, for a night of photography. And of course someone to shoot with. Bob and I had such a great evening the night could not have been better....

THE HARVEST GOES ON

With the final of the 5 wind turbines erected near Ridgetown, the farmers are getting the corn off to the driers. It was such a clear blue day I couldn't resist getting the giant in the perfect light. Funny how they look so much bigger in the daylight ;-}

"TWILIGHT"

3 minutes at f4 on a bright moonlit night while standing in a cornfield. It's a good thing the locals don't travel these back roads too often, especially at 1:46 a.m. I had enough of the wind turbines in camera and decided to catch a bit of the maple trees that still had a few leaves left on them. The moon gave just enough light to see the colour. Not too many people really see the world of colour that exists in the middle of the night. I think that is why I really like the Twilight series;-}

WARM NIGHT ON THE BEACH

The moon rising on Lake Erie is such a beautiful site....8:41 p.m.
Yes it was Nov 5 when I took this and it was actually a warm night. The weather has been so unpredictable lately, and this was one unusual evening.....
10 minutes at f4 100 iso 90% moon....By the time my eyes adjusted to the night I realized my car was in the frame ;-}
