Cottage near Annaghmore, Co Armagh being slowly pulled to the ground by a large creeping ivy. The cottage is made from the very ground it stands on but was still quite a structure in its time and very well finished. It's ironic in a number of ways, firstly that the owners probably planted the ivy for decorative effect, little did they know they'd planted the seed of destruction and secondly, this cottage will be tumbled to make way for a concrete mock tudor/edwardian structure, which in turn will be demolished in 100 years to build a more environmently aware building using the very materils we can see here.
Time really teaches us nothing.
Another crumbling beauty.
