The Germans Are Coming!
The Germans were ready for the Olympics. I was on my way to the Richmond Olympic Oval. The event was Men's Speed Skating 1500 meters and 5000 meters.

In Front of The Richmond Olympic Oval
It was hard to believe that my hometown hero, a guy who is from Seattle was about to compete for the U.S.A. in this Richmond Olympic Oval. I'm talking about Apolo Ohno.

At the time that I uploaded these photos, Apolo was tied with Bonnie Blair for most career medals at the Winter Olympics by an American.
He still has three more races to go. Go Ohno!!
