I baked some cakes for my last day at work: chocolate layer cake, cherry cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and malt muffins with chocolate & vanilla buttercream. I had lots of cherry and chocolate mixture left so I made some extra in case something went wrong. The cherry sponge turned out a bit like a frisbe! It was a lot better cut up as dinosaurs.

Day 37/365 Self Portraits - 6th February 2010

Today we went to London for the evening: dinner and a show! Get that, we never normally do things like that and it was so lovely. We went to see Waiting for Godot at the Haymarket. The seats were pretty awful, right at the back, but the show was amazing. I'm so pleased I got to see Sir Ian McKellen once in my life time, he's awesome.

So it's a typical touristy photo for London I'm afraid. I wasn't particularly in a photo taking mood, more excited about being cultured and out than anything else!

Day 36/365 Self Portraits - 5th February 2010

Okay so I've been really terrible uploading my photos recently, really terrible. I'm so behind. I don't have an excuse really, just life in general and laziness. i don't have much time in the evenings, but that's no excuse, everyone's short on time. I'm slowly, very slowly, catching up though.

I took so many photos when I was doing this face mask, but I think this one came out the best.

Taken in the lift at work on my iPhone. I hardly ever get the lift at work, I I got in especially to take this photo and I look like a total nerdy loser. The best thing this photo is that it showcases my awesome knitted accessories.

Day 34/365 Self Portraits Project - 3rd February 2010

I'm really not happy with this. I did a photoshop action to make a lomo look to the photo, and I just think it looks really over done.

Since I've come back from being at home, it feels like all I've done is look for things on my mac (mainly look for jobs). I know I'm seriously not using my macbook to it's full potential; I just hope he doesn't mind me pottering about and researching.
