Très beau piqué a la hauteur des yeux, la
texture est bien renforcée, ca donne de
l'authenticité au portrait. L'expression
pensive est bien rendue. Bravo!

this is as beautiful as the first post. but
just one bit will hold me for my yes... i
think i am seeing the nose quite lighter than
the rest of the skin. to the point that it
got rid of some of the details which i think
should be carried on from the face to the
nose. sorry, but just that and everything's
good to go for me.
NO for now. flickr.com/groups/thejurors/discuss/721576004

Hmm, this one is very tough for me. I really
appreciate the intricate details on the man's
face/skin. Its nice to see a man in sharp
detail. I'm a bit disappointed by the dof,
its slightly too shallow for me. Though I
enjoy the unique tight crop, I'm not happy
with the overall composition. My eyes seem
to be drawn to the bridge of the nose.
There, the lighting is somewhat harsh.
Sorry, for me this one isn't one of my
favorites from you. I vote NO.
Not a "easy" one to vote for me
this time. Well, as I often use to say I like
close up portraits. They offer the
opportunity to show a certain intimacy. I
also like the diagonal set up you used. And
finally I like the straight and tough shot of
his face. Think this could be also work in
colors.
But there are 2 sides of a coin. The
background is a essential part of a close up.
I really miss a bit more consistancy here. I
mean dark and bright areas create a bit too
much attention here. Of course it's a matter
of my taste but this time I am more into a NO
than a yes. Sorry.
Dear, I am sorry but this photo will be
removed from the Humility contest in 500x500
because it to me does not convey the theme
and is more a portrait category in my
opinion. No offense meant. lease read the
text above the contest for the guidelines.
Hugs.
