I especially like how you've composed this portrait & for the most part I like how the lighting accentuates the detail. Part of the nose and upper left corner where it seems a bit light, but not enough to keep me from voting Yes.

Hmm, this one is very tough for me. I really appreciate the intricate details on the man's face/skin. Its nice to see a man in sharp detail. I'm a bit disappointed by the dof, its slightly too shallow for me. Though I enjoy the unique tight crop, I'm not happy with the overall composition. My eyes seem to be drawn to the bridge of the nose. There, the lighting is somewhat harsh. Sorry, for me this one isn't one of my favorites from you. I vote NO.

Not a "easy" one to vote for me this time. Well, as I often use to say I like close up portraits. They offer the opportunity to show a certain intimacy. I also like the diagonal set up you used. And finally I like the straight and tough shot of his face. Think this could be also work in colors.

But there are 2 sides of a coin. The background is a essential part of a close up. I really miss a bit more consistancy here. I mean dark and bright areas create a bit too much attention here. Of course it's a matter of my taste but this time I am more into a NO than a yes. Sorry.
