actually I think this girl was from Holland, from the language she spoke with her mom that now I recognize a little. The woman was dressed in a really Bohemian fashion style herself, and I noticed here many people dress this way, which I love btw!
I love all this place actually Amsterdam is so beautiful I couldn't believe it!

I really do love this. You've captured a sweet mother/child moment - the subtle gesture of the mother offering the child an apple... "eat, my darling..." I love it - as if we are peaking through a little opening in a door to their cabin. (Amsterdam sounds great - i will have to visit there this summer, too :))

Looks like Omar beat me to it, but the first thing I though of was a poisoned apple, a witch, and snow white. It really is about the innocence of the girls eyes and the attention drawn to the apple while the mother is cast in shadows.

but the temple in this case, the context for the beautifully dressed princess, is a train.
a gorgeous lush narrative waiting to happen, on the verge of escaping from the capture into the reader's mind and ear.

Honest, hey dear, so glad to see you appreciate so much, I admit I was very lucky to catch that moment, I realized just a bit later of what a pic I had done ;) actually there was plenty of weird colourful people to photograph, but it always happened on the tram or a closed place and was too risky, Paolo had to stop me several times ;)

Lumase, no non so come si chiamasse la bambina, è uno scatto rubato sul treno. Ho chiamato la foto Kallisti come l'incisione sul pomo della discordia che in greco significa "alla più bella". L'immagine mi ricordava Eris nell'atto di porgere la mela alle dee che intendeva far litigare, e dato che la mela andò a Venere (e la bambina era bellissima, dunque Venere) questo scatto mi sembrava una sintesi di questo mito greco, ecco tutto.
