Here's one of the long exposure shots I took up at Nant Prysor last night, you can see the light people from the "24 Hour Party People" shot on the left. The moon was quite bright hence the bright sky, will definitley revisit this location when there's no moon around too, just love the location.

Carl - I love this especially the "ready breck" people on the right. But tell me, in my ignorance, how do you manage such a long exposure? Both my 30D & my 400D have "bulb" exposure but the only way I can get an exposure over 30 secs is to set the camera in "bulb" and keep my finger on the shutter. Have you got a cable release that allows you set up a timer or is there something in the camera itself I haven't found?

What a great idea. They look like alien visitors

Thank you all, glad that me running around a top of a hill like a nutter didn't go to waste :)
@Mark, yes you need a shutter release cable, that way you leave the camera in Bulb Mode and lock the shutter with the cable. I just picked up cheap ones off ebay for about £10 for both my 40D and 400D, works a treat.

Wow, that's really cool.. and so nicely put together with your imaginary light friends!!! (I had a similar idea with these light people already btw, but this gives me motivation to really try it someday...:)

Haha, love this photo Carl. It's amazing how bright you got the bulk of the picture with such a long exposure. 18 mins!! I'll have to give it a go soon.

I am thinking that you may have too much time on your hands. This is quite incredible. I am enjoying the show.
