note added 7-23-2009 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just as a note, this was in my stream from a year ago March. It has now been over 14 years since Deanna's murder...and her Mom Katherine has recently received some more NEW information....That is all they need....information...Please Help!! If you know ANYthing. Thank you again so much.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deanna Cremin would have celebrated her 30th birthday today. I am certain she would have made such a difference in today's world, it was her nature. There will be a memorial service for Deanna this Sunday, March 30, 2008 at St. Ann's Parish, 50 Thurston Street, Somerville, Massachusetts at 8:30am.

Her ambition and willingness to help others made Deanna very popular, and an incredible friend to so many. Deanna's ability to light up a room, as well as a person's life, is something that is greatly missed. Her never ending smile was quite contagious. The memorial service for Deanna Cremin on Sunday will also mark the 13th year since she was brutally murdered, and her brilliant life cut short. Her family and friends miss her so much, and hope and pray that this will be the year that Justice is served for Deanna Cremin.

There is new information in Deanna's Murder case (as of 7-13-07)
Please read my last comment. A key suspect in Deanna's murder was due to be released from prison in September 2007. If you know ANYone in the Boston/Somerville Massachusetts area.....please copy and send my last comment. It is very important....and time is running out.
Thank you so much!! gwennie2006@flickr.com

It has now been 13 years since Deanna Cremin's lifeless body was found, just four days after her 17th birthday, in Somerville, Massachusetts. She was such an amazing young woman who truly touched the lives of everyone she met . Determined and driven, nothing was going to stop her from achieving her goal and making a difference in the world. Deanna's dream was to teach children, to help build their confidence and self esteem. Her tragic murder deeply saddened an entire community and devastated the lives who knew her well. Deanna's family and friends have spent the past 12 years trying to find justice for her, so she may rest in peace. There is definite hope that her killer may soon be found. The link below is a tribute to all American soldiers and their families. It has been created in remembrance of Deanna.

As we continue on years of such violent and horrifying times for our courageous men and women soldiers. Please spend a moment and view this message, and pray for our soldier's safe return. Their devotion to freedom and tenacious vigor in the pursuit of peace in the world is quite inspirational to say the least. May their families find solitude in your thoughts. Godspeed in the closure of this most recent conflict and may the safe return be just moments away.

If you would be so kind as to forward the link below to your friends and ask them to do the same. Deanna's killer is still at large and there is a glimmer of hope that someone, somewhere may remember Deanna and the incidents of that dreadful night.

If you do remember something, anything, about her or the night of
March 29,1995 behind the elderly housing project at
125 Jaques Street in Somerville, Massachusetts,
please contact the Somerville Police Detectives at 617-625-1600.
Deanna's family and all of her many friends will be forever grateful.

Thank you so much!

Stairway to Heaven

According to a Native American Legend
If anyone desires a wish to come true they must first capture a butterfly
and whisper that wish to it.

Since a butterfly can make no sound, the butterfly can not reveal
the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit who hears and sees all.

In gratitude for giving the beautiful butterfly its freedom,
the Great Spirit always grants the wish.

So, according to this legend, by making a wish and giving the butterfly its freedom, the wish will be taken to the heavens and be granted. We are about to set these butterflies free in trust that all these wishes will soon be granted.

Wow. Actually when I clicked on this picture I thought I'd see another perfect 'before and after' picture, but alas... there was a moving story. I hope they'll find the guy who murdered her soon.

Im shocked and sorry to hear about Deanna, there are no words that can take away her families pain, but we can all wish for peace and justice. And the capture of those that took away her short life. I am sad to welcome you to the "in memory.." group.

Thanks for sharing this, love, thoughts and hugs to you and Deanna's family.

If you could copy the following information and send it to anyone you know from the Somerville, Massachusetts area. Thank you!

The following is from the private investigator, Suzanne McComas of ZZ Agency LLC, New York, who is working on Deanna Cremin's murder case:

If you lived in Somerville Massachusetts during the 90's, or know someone who did, please forward this to them. Particularly 1995.

Please also keep in mind that there is still a reward being offered. You could be the key to this!! Suzanne McComas is looking for people who may have had contact with a man by the name of Antonio Dadalto in the 1990's.

Antonio Dadalto aka: Tony aka: Vinny-No-Shoes.

Many people, mostly females, had "some" contact with him. He liked to cruise around Somerville and offer young girls rides. He would then coax them to his apartment where he would often times ask girls to take off their shoes.(hence the name Vinny-no-shoes). He would sometimes have girls jump up and down on damp towels. I even recall hearing of a party Dadalto hosted in which local teen males attended and a door got broken. He was known to cruise the Winter Hill, Somerville High, and Assembly Square Mall areas among others.

Do any of you know of any contact Deanna may have had with this man?

Listen, please don't be afraid to come forward. We are running out of time. Every bit of information helps. This man is an extremely dangerous sex offender . He is due to be released from prison in September 2007. He has been serving time for sexual assualt and attempted murder since the summer of 1995 (The summer of the year Deanna was murdered). He may flee the country and never be heard from again.

Please forward any and all information via myspace message to Suzanne McComas ZZ Agency LLC, New York or you can email her at contact@zzangency.com or call her @ 518-673-3632.

Thank you!

This is such a heart wrenching story, and from my heart of hearts I send so much love to the friends, family and community of this girl.

I live in St. Catharines Ontario, the city that Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka terrorized in the early 90's. Being just a few years younger than the girls I remember how it shook us all to the bone. I remember walking home from school in groups and stearing clear of camaros, and our parents not letting us play outside... Karla was released from prison just a few years ago, and considering assisted in the murder of her own sister and 2 other girls, it scared us, it shocked and disgusted a whole community... she should have never gotten out, and she deserves whatever horrible things she gets in her life.

Regardless... there are many crude things we could call people like this, and many things we would love to say in anger for what everyone whose lives are invaded by violet crime experience... However, all there is to say is that my heart is with you... keep fighting, never give up as karma works in mysterious ways and you will find your justice...

I don't know Deanna or her family, but the great thing about sites like flickr is that these stories can be told worldwide in the hope that justice is done. Who knows, someone might know something and I hope they do and I hope that justice is done. Good luck with this - you are all in my thoughts.

My name is Katherine Cremin. I am Deanna Cremin's mother. What has been done by this memorial to my daughter leaves me overwhelmed with gratitude for all the time and effort it took to put this together and generate more interest as well as information about this case. To me of course this is not "a case", it is pain and heartbreak. My family got blown apart when this happened. Since March 30, 1995, we have not stopped our pursuit for justice for Deanna. We won't until that day comes. It will prove to be a "hollow victory", for it won't bring my daughter back. But it may prevent another heinous act by the person who killed Deanna. It will bring some sort of peace to me and the rest of my family, to know that justice is served. Bittersweet? I don't know the words. But I do want to thank all who have commented and offered words of comfort and support for all these years. It has truly helped to keep me strong and not give up. My heartbreak should not be felt by anyone. But we live in a world where evil often touches us. But efforts such as this, prove that good will overcome evil. It will, in my lifetime. Thank you to all of you, especially gwennie2006. Again with my heartfelt gratitude. Thank you so much. Katherine Cremin
