Todays OU exercise was one in reducing complexity. I sort of missed the point with this. It was supposed to be one pic of my hand but I couldn't decide which to choose so this happened. It also gave me a chance to use the remote control I got for my Birthday. It's brilliant.

I usually keep my cat pics on Facebook but that's hardly fair to the cats now ;) Couldn't tell you why I like this one so much, it's not exactly a brilliant shot but I think it captures both of their personalities so keenly. Perhaps you have to know them to see it. And now I sound like a crazy cat lady.

This marks the end of my first week of being 40. And the end of my Birthday, can't milk it anymore. I still don't feel 40 but then I don't remember ever feeling in my 30's so I suppose it is just a number. Still, gives me a great opportunity to start over. Life begins... here's hoping!

Taken with my phone. This was the second time this week I'd gone out without my camera and found something I wanted to photograph. You think I would have learned my lesson the first time.
