If you have been following me for a long time you would know that I'm a big fan of color but at times some special pictures come by where B&W does justice to the image. This is a special one where I thought the colors is just not the way to go.

I have been very fortunate to travel extensively in the last one year so much so that some times the crew knows me by name. I got to see 10 times more places in the last one year than I have seen in the first 20 years of my life in India. When I travel I love to take the inner roads and get a sense of people living there and try to get into conversation with them. It gives me a chance to understand different thought process from different people. It also gives me a chance to compare the different cultures and their habits. Here's one shot to emphasize the same. This is one such comparison. A picture from the kitchen of North and a kitchen from the south.

In this picture you can compare how so many things are different starting from the dress, the way they have been worn, the vessels to the direction in which the stove is pointing towards.

This was shot just before the wedding of Ravi&Priya. Had a wonderful time shooting their wedding in Vizag, India.

A ring shot is always on my list of must-have pictures when Im shooting a wedding. Here's one from the latest wedding that I shot. The outdoor setup made it really hard to get the ring in focus since it was too windy and the wire wasn't hanging still.
