"Heart of Christmas" inhouse ad
In case you can't read the line under the gift it says "those who were living in darkness have seen a great light"
It's October and we are already drafting out Christmas stuff? I think it's great that we have to get a jump to refine ideas - but I wish that Christmas would stop being something that didn't end with us plopping into a chair at the end of events saying "glad this is over"

maybe "December 14 - 6pm". I dont think you need the "th, ":00" and periods in pm.

Starsavoy, I agree - but there is an unpublished "style sheet" that was established at our church before I got here that dictates such things. I've tried to nudge it here and there and been asked to change it back. The only areas I can get away with such things are on billboards when getting info down to around 7 words overrides the "style settings"

If that's the case, you should work with leadership to revise the style guide and bring it up to date. Here's some ammo: when people are looking for dates and times, we look for numbers. The ordinal indicators (I love using that) or "th" clutter it up and make the number more difficult to find.
Great font choices. Certainly eye-catching. Other than the text issues, I can't see much to improve.
