i wasn't really aware of how often i talk to my pets until my flatmate moved in and mentioned it to me within a week. emm. yeah. i do it all the time. but i'm not a mental. honest! apparently it's quite endearing.
since my writing is awful, the confession reads:
Dear Flickr
Confession Time!
I regularly talk to my pets like they are human and I'm pretty sure that they usually understand and respond as best they can. I can see it in their eyes.

i still think my blue burmese, Lucas, is my soulmate after the way he *chose* me out of the litter. Not mental at all. Its everyone else you have to watch out for.... ;)

I read a very interesting article once that said that all people talk to themselves, its the way that different parts of the brain communicate with each other and commit thoughts to memory, so speaking to a pet is definitely not insane...

My cat meows every time one of us sneezes. Apparently, he's learned that it's polite to say "bless you!" It's pretty adorable, really. :-)

Oh yeah, I talk to my 2 dogs all the time and if my husband is around he's always saying "what did you say?"
I either have to tell him I'm talking to the dogs or I mumble something else and walk away.
