It has been too long for Tibet. Here in India -- there is the third generation of tibetian children growing up who have never been to Tibet! But what is the solution.
China has never experienced or understood the concept of democracy and doesn't care for it either. And as it gets more rich and powerful in its arms and ammunition -- it will be a serious force to contend with.
I think the only way to stop China is to not feed its growth -- cut off all economic ties and ban all trade with China. Give student visas but don't give work visas to Chinese businessmen.
